Family Legacy Videos

Preserve the stories, wisdom, and memories of the people who shaped your family — forever.

About

Every Family Has a Story Worth Telling

A Family Legacy Video is a cinematic documentary about someone you love — a parent, grandparent, or family elder — captured while they can still share their voice, their laughter, and the stories only they can tell.

Mike Wolpert brings decades of documentary filmmaking experience to each project. The result is a deeply personal film that becomes one of the most treasured possessions your family will ever own. Partnering with Andrew Couch of SoundLegacy, a longtime podcaster and story historian to bring these video family histories to life, adds a whole new dimension to the work we do.

Process

How It Works

01

Discovery Call

We start with a relaxed conversation to learn about your family member — their life, their stories, and what matters most to you.

02

Filming Day

Mike comes to your home or a meaningful location. The atmosphere is warm and unhurried — more like a conversation than an interview.

03

Cinematic Edit

We weave together interviews, family photos, home movies, and music into a beautifully crafted film you'll watch again and again.

04

Delivery

You receive a finished film on archival-quality media, plus a digital copy to share with family near and far.

We did this for my mother's 80th birthday. She cried. We all cried. It's the greatest gift we've ever given her — and ourselves.
